Role and powers of the Board
As the deliberative body, the Board of Directors exercises the following powers in CNEE governance.
Sets CNEE’s strategic direction and priorities
Approves the general budget
Oversees the actions of General Management
Reviews the statutory auditors’ annual reports
Approves financial statements and the DG’s annual reports
Takes necessary measures and sanctions regarding local authority partners
Assesses CNEE’s financial balance each year and proposes subsequent adjustments to the government
